Privacy Policy for LiveLink

A. Purpose

MuffinsSoft (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) has the following processing policy in place to protect users’ personal information and rights in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and to smoothly handle users’ grievances related to personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share information when you use LiveLink applications that utilize the Google Speech to Text API and Google Translation API. The company's personal information processing policy may change according to changes in relevant laws and guidelines. If the company revises its personal information processing policy, it will announce it through a notice (or individual notice) on the company website (www.muffinssoft.com).

  1. “Personal information” refers to information about a living individual that can identify the individual by name, resident registration number, etc. included in the information (even if the information alone cannot identify a specific individual, it can be combined with other information) refers to things that can be easily combined and identified).

B. Personal information collection items

  1. In order to provide customized services, the company provides membership services and OAuth services from Google (OAuth Service provider). If you wish to use the OAuth service of an OAuth service provider, you must enter the following information. If you do not enter the required information, you may be restricted from using the service.

2) When using Google's (OAuth Service provider) OAuth service, you can access and use the user's data.

  2. Information collected by the company

1) Email address: Email address is collected when signing up for LiveLink. This is the only personal information we collect.

2) Microphone access: LiveLink requests access to the user’s device microphone to provide ‘speech to text’ functionality.  We do not store or share your voice data.

 

C. Consent to collection of personal information

  1. The company has established a procedure where you can click the “Allow” or “Cancel” button to the contents of the company’s personal information processing policy or terms of use, and when you click the “Allow” button, personal You are deemed to have consented to the collection of information. However, in any of the following cases, the company may collect and use the user's personal information without such consent in accordance with the law.

1) Personal information required to fulfill a contract for the provision of information and communication services, and where it is clearly difficult to obtain normal consent due to economic or technical reasons

D. Purpose of collection and use of personal information

  1. The company collects personal information for the following purposes, and if the purpose changes, the company will seek prior consent from the user.

1) Email Address: Your email address is used to create and manage your account. We will provide you with customer support and send you updates about LiveLink.

2) Microphone access: Audio data captured from the microphone is sent to the Google Speech to Text API for real-time transcription. The company does not store or share such audio data.

3) Translation: The copied text is sent to the Google Translate API to provide translation services. The company does not store or share these records and translated texts.

 

E. Collection of personal information through cookies

  1. Cookies are a small amount of information that a website transmits to your computer browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.). The company uses ‘cookies’ to store and retrieve information about you from time to time. Cookies identify your computer but do not identify you personally. You also have choices regarding cookies.

  2. In the Tools > Internet Options tab at the top of your web browser, you have the option to accept all cookies, have a notification sent when cookies are installed, or reject all cookies.

F. Sharing of your information

  1. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide LiveLink services, comply with our legal obligations, or protect your rights.

  2. The only third party we share data with is Google and this is to utilize the Speech to Text API and Google Translation API.

  1. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

J. Compliance with Google API Service User Data Policy

  1. LiveLink complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including limited use requirements.

  2. We only use Google Speech to Text API and Google Translate.

  3. We only use the Google Speech to Text API and Google Translate API, which provide the ability to convert and translate speech into text within the app.

Personal information protection and copyright protection

Our automated systems analyze your content (including emails) to provide you with product features that may be useful to you, such as personalized search results, personalized advertising, and spam/malware detection. This analysis is performed when content is transmitted, received and stored.

 If you use a Google Account, Google may display your profile name, profile photo, and actions you take on Google or third-party applications linked to your Google Account (e.g. +1s, reviews, comments, etc.) on Google services ( (including display for advertising and other commercial purposes). Google respects your choices to limit sharing or visibility settings in your Google Account. For example, you can prevent your name and photo from appearing in ads.

About software included in Google services

If the Service requires or includes downloadable software, the software may be automatically updated on your device as new versions or features of the software become available. Some services also allow you to adjust your automatic update settings.

Google gives you a personal, worldwide, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the software we provide to you as part of the Services. This license is provided solely to enable you to use and benefit from the Services as provided by Google in accordance with these Terms. Some jurisdictions allow certain warranties, such as implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Google excludes all warranties to the extent permitted by law.

 

Responsibilities for Google Services

Where permitted by law, Google, its suppliers and sellers are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, financial losses, indirect damages, special damages, consequential damages, punitive damages, or exemplary damages. It doesn't.

To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Google and its suppliers and dealers for any claim under these Terms, including any implied warranties, will be limited to the amount paid by you to Google (or, at Google's option, you) for use of the Services. (re-providing services to you).
